About Factice & Processing Aids
Factice is a vulcanized, cross-linked unsaturated vegetable oil used as a processing aid, polymeric plasticizer and property modifier in natural and synthetic rubber compounding. Unlike liquid plasticizers, it is a solid network that disperses evenly during mixing and stays permanently bound after cure, so it does not migrate or extract. It improves dimensional stability in extrusion and calendering, prevents thin-walled profiles from collapsing before cure, helps prevent sulphur bloom, and gives a smooth surface finish to hoses, rollers, erasers, weatherstrips and calendered sheets. Every Dishant factice — White, Brown and Golden — is manufactured to Premium Quality Grade. See all Factice & Processing Aids →
